On July 1, 2022, Medical Directions Australia merged with The Ochre Group ansd became known as Medical Directions, A Division of The Ochre Group.
The Ochre Group was founded by two proceduralist GPs in the NSW outback town of Bourke over 20 years ago and it has developed a strong reputation for delivering quality healthcare services across Australia, particularly into rural and regional communities. To date, it has been made up of two companies – Ochre Recruitment and Ochre Health.
Specialising in recruiting locum doctors, Ochre Recruitment has long been a trusted partner of private and public health facilities across Australia and NZ.
Sister company, Ochre Health, operates a network of over 60 medical centres in partnership with over 400 doctors, as well as holding state government contracts to run hospital emergency departments in numerous rural towns.
