NSW Work Conditions
Standards and Conditions for the Provision of Locum Medical Officers
As from October 2008 all workforce agencies providing medical locums in NSW Public Health facilities need to meet the Standards and Conditions established by NSW Health. Only those agencies that meet the defined criteria are eligible to be registered by NSW Health to provide locum services.
We are pleased to advise Medical Directions Australia is registered by NSW Health to provide locum services as a consequence of meeting the Standards and Conditions.
As part of the implementation of the Standards and Conditions, agencies and locums are required to complete the mandatory information prior to medical officers being engaged by health services. The majority of this information is required once and our friendly staff will be available to assist you with the process along the way.
MDA supports NSW Health in providing a robust framework for the provision of locums whilst ensuring our services are safe, reliable and efficient.
